News and Views – CrappyDads.com
One of the goals of The DeadBeat Spreadsheet is to provide information and helpful resources for individuals who find themselves in difficulties following their divorce. While researching on Google the other day I ran across a link that I had to follow up on. The name just sunk a hook into me. It’s called CrappyDads.com. Now, it’s not like anything I’m trying to do here, but it does reflect the frustration level that is certainly out there with fathers and mothers who refuse to make their court ordered child support payments. Crappy Dads has put together a pretty impressive framework for rightfully angered Ex’s to voice their ire. This newly created blog provides a platform where joiners can easily single out and report transgressions, starting of course with the publicly reporting of their Ex’s arrears in their court ordered child support payments.
The About Us Page starts off with “Deadbeat dads of the world have become an epidemic, period! They have freely chosen not to be a financially supportive parent in their children’s lives. According to the US Census Bureau, 47.3% of custodial mothers received all child support that they were owed and 77.5% received some.”
Also there’re you will find the textbook definition of a Deadbeat Dad. But as they say about themselves, “CrappyDads.com is a place for all those affected by the deadbeat dad to display their stories, images and even videos. Not only will we update CrappyDads.com with your submissions but we will strive to provide you with helpful information on all topics related.”
I really like the layout of the webpage itself. I ran across it while I was trying to choose from about a thousand templates for my own website. Heck I like it so much that I decided to use it for the blog here at The DeadBeat Spreadsheet. It’s called Dyna-Blue and it’s a free template from WordPress.
I do believe that there are Deadbeats, or CrappyDads, if you prefer, from every state in the union appearing within the pages of this web-blog. There is even an easy 50 state index in the right margin where you can simply cut to the chase, so-to-speak, and see if you recognize any of your neighbors. Yes, just about every entry has a picture of the offending Ex included. (How embarrassing!) There’s even a video of a CrappyDad being arrested in a sting operation.
CrappyDads.com claims to be the only website on the Internet dedicated to humiliating deadbeat dads. They have received many praises explaining how their website has exposed these non-financially supportive parents and helped with expediting payments towards child support arrears.
CrappyDads.com approach to this subject is a bit different from what we are doing over here at The DeadBeat Spreadsheet, but I do believe we can compliment each others efforts.
Check them out for yourself.
